Shopping FAQ

Hey lingerie lover! We know you have lots of questions about ordering online, so we have answered some of the most common Q's below. If you have a question we haven't covered please get in touch.

WHAT IS MADE TO ORDER? 

Made to order means we don't hold stock, so when your order comes through we cut and sew your items. It takes between three to five weeks for your garments to be sewn. You can email us at any time during this period to check how far away your items are from shipping. Being made to order means we can also make to your measurements, so add these to the notes when you checkout.
We stock a small range of ready to ship, these take 2-5 days for packing. If you order ready to ship with made to order items, the made to order times will apply.
 

SHIPPING TIMES

You will receive an email with the tracking details once your item has shipped. If you would like to know the shipping times for your country get in touch.

Below are the approximate shipping times for frequently shipped locations: 
  • Shipping within Australia is 3 business days 
  • Shipping to New Zealand is 5 business days
  • Shipping to the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Germany is around 6 business days
  • Shipping to Sweden is around 7 business days 

SHIPPING COSTS

Australia: Amber and Indigo offers a $10 flat rate for shipping within Australia for orders under $100 and free shipping for orders over $100. 

International: Amber and Indigo offers a $22 flat rate for shipping internationally for orders under $200 and free shipping for orders over $200. All international customers are responsible for custom taxes incurred on delivery as this is a legal requirement.

Amber & Indigo Lingerie is not responsible for parcels that go missing in the post and will not replace items that go missing. We will not replace or locate a parcel that has been sent to and incorrect delivery address provided at the checkout, so please check your details carefully before submitting your order.

RETURNS

Items can be exchanged if you have ordered the wrong size. The items will need to be returned in the box you received them in. Items must be returned in their original state, which means unworn, undamaged and with their labels attached and original packaging. Any items not in acceptable condition may be refused exchange. Items for exchange must be returned within 10 days. 
For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept the return of underwear and items purchased on sale cannot be returned. If in the unlikely event that you have received an item that is damaged, please contact me to discuss a replacement or a repair. 
Please note that the return shipping costs both ways is at the expense of the customer.
When you have an item for exchange you will need to get in touch with us to discuss the replacement. Please email me here and include your order number. 

PAYMENT METHODS

Amber and Indigo accepts all major credit cards, Paypal, Afterpay and Shopify pay. 

CURRENCY

You can view the price of garments in AUD or USD. This currency converter will show up to date exchange rates. However, all orders are billed in AUD.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Amber & Indigo garments are finely crafted by hand, therefore care must be taken when laundering. Garments must be hand washed separately in cold water using a delicates laundry detergent. Leather accessories can be wiped clean. Machine washed garments may become damaged or discoloured. We cannot accept any exchanges or returns for machine washed goods.
